Northampton manufacturing company currently seeking a Sales Estimator for their company. Candidate with a background in sales, quoting or estimating is a plus! This is an administrative role assisting the sales department and submitting quotes to customers and potential clients.

Duties Include:

-Translating customer needs and specificiations, converting into sales proposals/quotations to help maximize sales and growth.

-Estimating material and labor cost for customer requests for RFQ’s and RFP’s.

-Review Bills of Material, assembly drawings and engineering change notices as needed.

-Compare RFQ’s to prior orders to confirm accurate cost estimates.

-Communicate customer information and interface with Engineering, Manufacturing and management teams and work closely with Purchasing Team to evaluate and select suppliers based on cost, lead time, and quality.

-Coordinate order review and approval inlcuding pricing, notes and Terms/Conditions. Prepare quotes and proposals.

-Must be able to work with a team and independently.

Full time, temp-hire opportunity on 1st shift. Pay is dependent on experience.
