Description:

We are seeking a Skills Trainer to work with teens in the Springfield, MA area. The ideal candidate will have experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and supporting people affected by trauma.  Individuals needs are supports with, accessing the community safely, and exploring recreational interests. transportation training, and social skills supports.  

Requirements:
  • At least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Life or work experience with individuals with ASD, trauma 
  • Experience working with children 
  • Be able to handle emergency situations 
  • Have certification in CPR/First Aid or ability to be certified
  • Valid driver’s license, availability of private vehicle, up-to-date car insurance
  • CORI, SORI, DPPC and National Fingerprint Check
  • A negative Mantoux TB test or a clear chest x-ray
