Description:

Job Summary

Primary responsibility for the system administration of Moodle Workplace for all Executive Education non-degree programming.  Acts as a technical resource in support of the multiple platforms used in operating the department.  Manages all phases of the learner and faculty experience that intersects with technology. Analyzes program and participant data to make program enhancements. Provides facilitation, administrative, content design and adult learning principles in support of programming.

Take appropriate actions to support a diverse workforce and participate in the College's efforts to create a respectful, inclusive, and welcoming work environment.

Essential Functions

Manage Technology & Systems: (60%)

  • Apply adult learning theory, design models and best practices to build interactive learning experiences through LMS platform to reinforce course content

  • Create & update program sites and courses for each program offering; blended, live on-line & on-campus delivery modes

  • Provide instructional, LMS technical support, and troubleshooting expertise to executive education faculty and learners

  • Manage upgrades with LMS (Moodle Workplace); communicate changes to learners/faculty

  • Stay current with learning technology trends; explore, evaluate and recommend new tools/technologies to enhance the user experience

  • Acts as a technical resource for multiple operational platforms within the department (Salesforce, Pardot, Blackthorn, etc.)

  • Develop ongoing training and training materials, visual aids for learner and faculty onboarding

Data analysis: (20%)

  • Develop, implement and analyze post program surveys

  • Track enrollment and participant progress

  • Identify trends in utilization

  • Create and sustain departmental dashboard

  • Synthesize analysis using air table, tableau tools

  • Assess data to make programming recommendations

Program support: (20%)

  • Coordinate program logistics; Moodle, zoom

  • Lead development of program workbooks, faculty bios, content & participant bios

  • Manage Faculty and Participant invoicing/purchase order process as necessary

  • Contribute to process improvement and quality initiatives

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications (knowledge, skills, education, experience, certifications, licenses)

Bachelor's degree and between 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a business or higher education context or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.  Demonstrated experience with learning management systems.  Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel.

Experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Qualifications

Moodle experience preferred. Additional exposure to learning, CRM and tools; Tableau, Air table, Salesforce.

Skills

Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills. High attention to detail and accuracy.  Ability to synthesize data and translate into actionable insights and recommendations.  Organized, problem solver that can manage competing priorities and time-sensitive projects independently.  An understanding of adult learning theory and a learning mindset is beneficial.
