Required: A vested interest in expanding access to Hearing Voices Movement-related information and supports; Demonstrated understanding of the Hearing Voices approach and ability to represent associated values in work and interactions; Demonstrated skill and ability to effectively use Zoom, social media platforms, updating websites and navigating e-newsletter software; Effective communication both verbally and in writing; Commitment to anti-oppression values; Ability to work independently, track and make decisions about how and when to prioritize multiple tasks and projects; Based in the US. Strongly Preferred: Your own experience hearing voices, seeing visions and/or other related experiences; Your own experience with psychiatric force, staying on an inpatient psychiatric unit and similar; Your own experience navigating US-based treatment systems; Completion of Hearing Voices-related trainings. A Plus: Bilingual/bicultural (English/Spanish and/or other languages with significant representation in the US); Graphic and/or web design experience; Experience facilitating Hearing Voices USA groups (groups for voice hearers, groups for family and friends, etc.). About Hearing Voices USA: Hearing Voices USA was a collaborative effort founded in 2010 to increase awareness of and access to the Hearing Voices approach across the United States. The HVN USA Administrative Manager is the first paid role for Hearing Voices USA. It represents a critical step toward a more fully realized network. At present, it is operating under the umbrella of the Western Mass Training Consortium with support from the Wildflower Alliance.
