We're seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Retail Associate to support daily operations at our store. This hourly role is perfect for someone with a love for food, wine, and customer service. You'll assist with sales, stocking, and creating an inviting atmosphere while learning about our curated selections.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities: Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable recommendations on wines, cheeses, charcuterie, and specialty items. Handle point-of-sale transactions, including cash, credit, and inventory tracking. Assist with merchandising, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment. Support events like wine tastings and product demos, drawing on our chef-owner's expertise. Monitor inventory levels and help with receiving deliveries. Ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Qualifications: Previous retail or customer service experience preferred (food/wine industry a plus). Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods. Passion for European cuisines, wines, and artisanal products. Availability for flexible hours, Saturday is a must. Closed Sunday Must be 21+ (due to alcohol handling). Reliable transportation to Amherst, MA.
