Requirements for this Direct Care Supervisors:
To thrive as a Full-Time Direct Care Supervisor at Pathlight, essential skills and knowledge are key! A solid understanding of Human Services and direct care support is crucial, as you'll be guiding staff and providing the highest quality of care. Basic routine healthcare knowledge will allow you to support individuals effectively, while your teaching skills will empower and instruct those you serve.
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is necessary, as you'll champion their rights and growth every step of the way. A high school diploma, paired with specialized training or coursework, is essential, and don't forget that a valid driver's license is required for travel between our charming locations in West Springfield, Feeding Hills, Springfield, and Westfield. Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- Knowledge of Human Services
- Provide basic routine health care to population served
- Basic teaching instruction
- Experience working with Individuals with developmental disabilities.
