Coordinated Entry (CE) Specialist (Greenfield) 

The Three County CoC is seeking candidates for a Coordinated Entry (CE) Specialist! This position coordinates the CoC's Coordinated Entry system, a "no wrong door” system designed to connect individuals and families experiencing homelessness with housing options across Berkshire, Franklin, and Hampshire counties.

This includes organizing case conferencing meetings with partners, conducting training for new partners, providing technical support to users, maintaining updated documents, and completing required reports. The CE Specialist also supports the work of the Compliance Manager by assisting with program compliance. The CE Specialist is an active member of the CoC staff team and works to support, enhance, and promote communication and consistency in the delivery of services.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing all aspects of the Coordinated Entry System for the Three County CoC including ensuring compliance with policies and procedures governing assessment, eligibility determinations, and prioritization of housing assistance.
  • Facilitating Coordinated Entry case conferencing meetings in all three counties, including any population-specific workgroups.
  • Conducting training and providing technical support to users about Coordinated Entry.
  • Managing and tracking Emergency Housing Vouchers (EHV), including attending meetings with state partners and collaborating with housing agency partners.
  • Building strong relationships with funded/non-funded staff that work directly with people that are homeless to ensure supportive practices and responses; that they are informed on the HUD regulations for coordinated entry, CoC’s Policies and Procedures and YHDP expectations.
  • Assisting with performance monitoring of funded sub-recipient partners.
  • Assisting in developing and maintaining reporting, monitoring, and technical assistance procedures, program manuals, and CoC Charters.
  • Assisting with special events including the Point-in-Time Count (PIT), the completion of the Housing Inventory Count (HIC), and organizing continuum-wide training opportunities in compliance with federal requirements.
