Head Start Infant/Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant $5,000 Bonus! 

CAPV Head Start & Early Learning Programs is seeking a skilled and thoughtful individual to join our team of Infant/Early Childhood Mental Health Consultants in providing reflective, capacity-building support to educators, staff, parents, and caregivers of young children ages 0-5 in Hampshire, Franklin and Western Hampden counties-- with the goal of increasing awareness, understanding, and responsivity to the social emotional and mental health needs of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. 

Consultants engage in child/classroom observation, scaffolding of emotionally- and trauma-responsive teaching practices, psychoeducation to staff and families, and facilitate referrals to providers in the community. Must be a Masters-level licensed mental health professional with at least 1 year of early childhood mental health experience. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.  

Position is 30 hours per week (40 weeks school year) 25 hours per week (12 weeks summer). The pay range is $31.30/hr to $33.20/hr. No billing/productivity requirements, weekends, or on-call.
