POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Janitor is     a hands-on position that leads and supports the organization in facilities maintenance. The Janitor is responsible for keeping our office, program, and outdoor spaces clean and inviting, assisting with minor building repairs as needed. This position is responsible for tracking supply inventory.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED and 3 years working experience in a similar capacity.
  • Initiative, communication skills, as well as attention to
  • Ability to manage processes, organization, process improvement, reporting
  • Multitasker with the ability to work in a fast-paced
  • Computer skills including email and working knowledge of Microsoft Word and
  • Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and dedication to the mission of Girls
  • Strong role model for children, adolescents, and young adults.
  • Actively participate in creating a thriving culture of philanthropy at Girls Inc. of the Valley by sharing your passion for the Girls Inc. mission, people and programs at community and organization-wide events
  • Possess and appreciate a strong sense of humor.
