The Program Data Specialist contributes to our mission by assisting in data development, tracking, and implementation of quality control procedures to ensure compliance. The Program Data Specialist assists in training staff to ensure continued understanding of program rules and regulations.

Wage starts between $21.50 and $24.25 per hour depending on equivalent qualifications. Interested applicants must submit a cover letter and resume; applications will be accepted until the position is filled. CORI.
The candidate will work in a hybrid-remote capacity but must live within commutable distance to our main office in Springfield, MA. In-office work and in-person meetings are occasionally expected.
Responsibilities include:
• Conduct audits in accordance with program policy to ensure compliance with state, federal, and program requirements
• Maintain database and systems to track performance and findings, and report to management
• Ability to manipulate findings from a database to graphical aides
• Educate and advise staff on policies, procedures, regulations, community concerns and issues
• Assist Program Manager to develop and implement training materials
• Educate and advise landlords, tenants, community groups, etc. on policies, procedures, and regulations
• Respond to requests for information from auditors, other agency departments, or funding sources
• Establish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with internal staff and departments, owners, landlords, community groups, funding sources, and other departments or agencies to achieve goals
• Demonstrate the ability to assess priorities and operate in a flexible manner
• Demonstrates excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills
• Utilizes independent judgment
• Strong interpersonal skills required to interact with all organizational levels; demonstrated ability to work appropriately with confidential information
• Ability to work in a team and meet performance deadlines in a dynamic environment
• Assist in the research and resolution of software issues, including updates
Requirements include:
• 2 years' equivalent experience in compliance-based data work, or in a related role, with 1 year as a field specialist; a combination of experience plus an Associate degree may be a substitute
• Proficiency in Excel, and the full MS Office suite
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, and comfort learning new technologies; tech-savvy
• Ability to assess priorities, organize, and operate in a flexible manner while retaining a high level of attention-to-detail
• Demonstrated ability to work independently
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to serve diverse populations and work appropriately with confidential information; ability to effectively mentor and/or train colleagues
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) verbal and written skills preferred but not required
