Interested in joining our team of dedicated professionals? Way Finders is currently seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Resident Services Coordinator in our Property Management department. The Resident Services Coordinator will further our mission by coordinating support services, initiating referrals, and advocating for frail or at-risk tenants.

Wage starts between $21.50 and $24.25 per hour depending on equivalent qualifications. Interested applicants must submit a resume and cover letter; applications will be accepted until the position is filled. CORI/MVR.
The candidate will work fully onsite, covering properties located in Springfield and Agawam, MA. Occasional evening and weekend hours are required.
Responsibilities include:
• Coordinate support services for tenants by initiating referrals and providing advocacy; counsel tenants on available resources and provide assistance in accessing services as needed and appropriate
• Maintain accurate client case files in a timely manner
• Develop and maintain database of appropriate resources in a proactive, organized manner
• Promote participation and involvement in local senior centers, libraries, etc., to foster a continued link to the community, in an informed, individualized, and empathetic manner
• Develop partnerships with service providers to ensure comprehensive and seamless service delivery
• Ensure materials are accessible for all tenants (e.g. large print)
• Liaise between tenants and property managers
• Identify and communicate in a timely manner any issue that may adversely affect the department or agency
Requirements include:
• 3 years’ equivalent experience in social/human services, or a related role, with 1 year as a field specialist; a combination of experience plus an Associate degree may be a substitute
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) written and verbal skills required
• Demonstrated ability with Microsoft Office applications, and comfort learning new technologies
• Ability to assess priorities, organize, and operate in a flexible manner
• Clear, effective, and timely communication skills
• Ability to occasionally work evenings and weekends
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; reliable vehicle
