 F. M. Kuzmeskus Inc. began transporting school children in the early 1920’s. Back then, there was no such thing as a written school transportation contract – everything was done by handshake. Once a year, the school superintendent came around to check on your team of horses and your wagon. If they passed inspection, you got the job.
In 1927, Jacob Kuzmeskus went modern and bought a wooden-bodied truck. This new vehicle cut travel time on some runs from one hour down to 15 minutes.
Since then, TravelKuz (as it’s known today), has refined and expanded its transportation services, adding charter and coach buses to their fleet, but one thing has stayed the same – an unparalleled dedication to safety, reliability, and serving the different needs of all the people in their communities with professionalism and pride. |
