BFAIR has rewarding job openings for Direct Care staff.  Join a premier human service organization and help change the lives of individuals served.   Support individuals with Acquired Brain Injury in a group home setting, assisting with personal care, activities of daily living, and help them to live their best life.  Starting rate is $19.50 per hour. Duties include:

• Develop rapport with individuals supported and foster their personal growth striving to obtain their goals
• Provide and maintain safe home environment
• Plan, implement and document teaching plans/strategies

Qualifications:

• 18 years of age or older
• Valid US driver's license and ready access to a vehicle
• HS Diploma/GED or one year in the field
• Complete all initial background checks
• Complete pre-employment physical and TB test

High School Diploma/GED or one year experience in a related field, must possess basic math (addition/subtraction) skills, ability to read & write, communicate effectively both verbally and written, ability to multi-task and exercise good judgement. Ability to complete all initial and ongoing background checks including but not limited to: CORI, SORI, Fingerprinting, LEIE, Driving record, E-verify, Physical, PPD and licensing and/or certification checks (i.e. nursing).  Valid US driver’s license and ready access to a vehicle.
