MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent, PLUS one (1) year of experience in grounds maintenance; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the responsibilities of the position.
- Valid Massachusetts Motor Vehicle Operator’s license.
- Working knowledge of the tools, methods, and materials used in grounds and golf course maintenance and construction. Experience using the listed tools and equipment.
- Experience performing semi-skilled maintenance and manual tasks.
- Ability to perform moderate to heavy manual labor for extended periods in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to understand and execute instructions and written instruction materials.
- Working knowledge of safety protocols and standard operating procedures, including OSHA requirements.
